This device will change the world

Since I was a child I've been designing this device in my head. Every year or two the bug hits and I look at what hardware would be required, and every time it gets theoretically cheaper and easier to build. Someone finally built it.

This is a wearable camcorder that is always recording on a short loop. When you press the record button it starts recording (or uploading, via a smartphone) from 30 seconds in the past.

See something awesome? Press the button.
See an accident? Press the button.
See a crime? Press the button.

I love living in the future.

That is pretty darn cool!

The thing that gets me about these newfangled things that come out, is that they could do so much better, but they don't.

For example:
1) it already has built-in memory...why not just add a Micro-SD slot as well?

2) Why not have it where you can change the clip size (15sec., 30sec, 60sec?)...

Fun and cool, but how does that figure into privacy issues, etc?

It has nothing to do with privacy issues. If you're in a situation where using any other video camera would be an invasion of privacy then using this camera would also be an invasion of privacy.
