Room at Connooga
The previously-mentioned room that I got at Connooga presently has only me in it. Happy to split the ridiculously low cost with a friend or two. Get in touch at the con if you're interested.

We are two for two with the following offer on Priceline.com:
yielding a room at the ChooChoo. A friend of mine got it for Saturday night, I got it for Friday and Saturday nights. I am posting here first, giving my LJ-reading friends a couple of hours head start. I will post on the Connooga forums later tonight, and elsewhere more public after that.
If you are unfamiliar with how priceline works, you make an offer with certain criteria and they try to match it with a hotel with openings at that price. If they find a match, you bought it. Do not undertake an attempt to replicate our feat if you cannot accept the possibility of being forced to stay in a different hotel 1-4 easy miles away.
