Day 16, Transportation in Atlanta

I get asked a lot why I don't have a car. My modes of transportation change on a regular basis, everything from pedestrian to driving a gas guzzling pickup truck for work over the past few years, and there are many factors involved in deciding when it's time to change.

Sad tidings

My bicycle got stolen last night, from the bike rack at Peachtree Center. They cut my cable. I am going to file the police report on my way to work today, and investigate security cameras in the area (at least 6 can see the bike rack, that I can see).

Lights on my bicycle wheel

This is a relatively accurate version of what this image looks like on the SpokePOV display attached to my bike.

I put a row of LEDs on my bike wheel, so when it spins it makes pictures. I don't have a camera right now to take real pics, so this is the best I can do today, show up at the masquerade tonight if you want to see it in person.
