Sorry to be unclear on #4. I don't mean that the man will actually pay more than the woman, although as you point out that is the case as well. What I am getting at is that the woman has the option to commit to 18 years of both parties paying for the child while the man doesn't have that option. It's the value of that decision that is at issue here.
